KICKBOXING

On March 7th 2010 our very own Liam Lawlor made it to the semi-final stages of the Irish Open competition for kickboxing in Saggart, Co. Dublin. Despite a stirling effort by the talented martial artist the ultimate accolade of a place in the final alluded him this year but he is hopeful that the experience gained in the 2010 competition will stand him in good stead for 2011. Best of luck with that Liam.

It wasn't all bad news though because Liam and a group of his kickboxing colleagues were recently awarded The Junior Sports Team of the Year Award in Newry and Mourne. Congratulations to the entire team!
