On Wednesday 14th September Junior Certificate students gathered in the study hall to receive their results from the Principal. As they opened their envelopes their anxiety turned to elation as they surveyed their results sheets.
Teachers and pupils were delighted with the fantastic results obtained in this year's junior certificate, the results obtained being the best in recent years. Eight students had 6 or more As with two students getting 8 A's. 51 students received 8 or more honours on higher level papers. Students achieved excellent results across a wide range of subjects, with an exceptional 39 A's in CSPE and 36 students receiving an honours grade in Home Economics. We thank teachers and parents for their work and the support which have enabled so many students to reach their potential. And of course we congratulate our Junior Cert students!
