Good news from the Maths Department

Our First years took part in the Irish Junior Maths competition . Several students did very well in the first round while three qualified for the final. After some extra work in school (and some extra homework) our finalists went to Castleknock College. Seventy-four students took part in the final. Our boys enjoyed the challenge of the hour long competition. Conor Mc Bride, Joseph Mullen and Niall Mc Enteggart each received a certificate on completion of the paper. Conor attained a top ten position while Joseph and Niall both took a top twenty position. Well done to all participants.
