Colleges' Victory

The Dundalk colleges' team won the Leinster Championship this year with the help of 10 students from the De La Salle. On the panel were 'True Blues' Patrick Reilly (Captain) Shane Mc Quillan, James Doherty, Kieran Lenehan, Ciaran Byrne, Sean Thornton, Darren McMahon, Darragh Smith, Darren Breen and Peter Lynch. The victory was all the sweeter as it was old Meath rivals St. Pat's of Navan that they defeated.

They faced defending All Ireland Champions St. Colman's of Newry in the All Ireland Semi-final but sadly were defeated. We are proud to say that the back bone of this team was constructed of De La Salle boys and have no doubt that further glory awaits them in the not too distant future.
