Adams Omorede of 5th year and Justin Rosagaren of 2nd year recently had their admirable skills on the basketball court recognised when they were selected for the U16 N.E. of Ireland team.

The trials were held at the end of September in Carrick and boys from Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Cavan all took part. Our two De La Salle basketballers were therefore selected from a very large talent pool.
Subsequently both boys have been participating in the Boys Inter Post-primary Competition in basketball. The north-eastern team has been very successful in the competition coming second over-all and picking up the coveted runners-up plate at the end of October.

The boys hope to use this experience as a springboard towards realising every boys' dream and that is the honour of playing for their country. Good luck to Justin and Adams in their endeavours.
